52 players took part in the April 4BBB Stableford played Sunday 12th April.
The winning score came from our Junior Pair of Jake Jennison and Taylor Blogg with an excellent score of 45 Stableford points (9 under par). Well played lads. Runners up Steve Bellerby and Brian Lowson with 42pts narrowly edging out David Arrowsmith and Steve Tait also with 42pts on countback.
Thanks to our greens team for presenting the course in excellent condition.

47 players took part in our first White Tee Qualifier of the season in the April Medal.

The first competitive knock from the back tees always proves to be a challenge made more difficult by a strong blustery wind which increased as the day went on. The scoring proved to be quite tough going with only 1 score breaking par all day coming in the final 3 ball.

Neil Ferguson came out victorious in the April medal carding a Gross 74 for a net 68 followed closely in second place in Division One by Callum Robertson with a Gross 74 for a net 70.

Nick Hilton Scott took the honours in Division 2 with a gross 86, Net 71 and Division 3 was won by Chris Cook with a gross 103 for a Net 71.

The Lowest Gross prize of the day was won by Cameron Ferguson with a Gross 73, won on countback narrowly edging out George Forder with the same score.  

Only 1 two was recorded, Howard Barrick with a profitable return on the 17th hole.

We hosted our annual fun competition, the 4 club challenge on Saturday 21st march. Members have to choose which 4 clubs to use and one of these clubs, must be a putter. The winning score came from Cameron Ferguson with a remarkable score of 40 points playing off +1 handicap. (65 gross). An unbelievable score with only 4 clubs Cameron, congratulations.

40 players took part in the March Stableford Competition played on Saturday 7th March. The course is drying out nicely now allowing the tees to be moved slightly further back, more into their usual winter positions, The winning score came from Ash Martindale in Division One narrowly edging out Kyle Lowson on count-back with a Stableford score of 38pts (2 under par). Congratulations Ash.
