The final board competition of 2026 from the White Tees was played on Sunday 13th September with 49 players competing to win the Cave Trophy.
The winning score came from 28 handicapper, Andy Gunnell returning a great score of 41pts. Runner up was Chris Bailey with 40pts and 3rd place Steve Tait with 39pts.
Thanks to all the green-staff for setting the course up in such excellent condition and for the impeccable quality of the Greens.

Glen May won the September medal with a Net 63 on count-back narrowly edging out Jamie Blogg in division 2 with the same score.
Division One was won by Adam Guildford with a Net 68.
Steve Liddell came out on top in Division Three with a Net 70.

Congratulations to Pete Brookes winning the Presidents Trophy played on Sunday 15th August.
Pete shot a lifetime best round of 70 gross playing off 12 handicap for 47pts (11 under par). Well played Pete on a truly outstanding round of golf.
Runner up was Billy Forder with 42pts.
3rd place went to Cameron Ferguson who once again equalled our Course Record for the 2nd year running with a quite fabulous round of 66 shots, 41pts playing off 2 handicap which included 7 birdies.
One day soon the course record which has stood for over 25 years will be broken.

MIke Ward was the winner of our Rabbits Championship with a Gross 86. Well played Mike.
2nd Gross went to Pete Heath with a gross 88 and 3rd gross was Carl Jones with a Gross 91.
Best Net score of the day was Jamie Blogg with a net 67 narrowly edging our Steve Liddell on count-back also with a 67.

Our 2026 Captain, Brian Lowson won our August Medal with a great round of golf shooting a 79 gross off 20 handicap for a net 59. Some going is that Brian, well played.
Division one was won by Richard Turner with another great round of 70 Gross, Net 64 and Division 3 winner was Julie Copley with a 93 gross, Net 65.
